Introduction

San Joaquin County is seeking a strong leader with experience in an administrative or management role to assist in the leadership and administration of the Child Support Services Department.

The Assistant Director of Child Support Services will assist with the planning, organizing and directing the development and delivery of local child  support services.  The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in business or public administration or a closely-related field with five years of experience performing duties in a public agency in an administrative or management position while demonstrating a high level of integrity and strong sense of ethics.

 

The position is exempt from the San Joaquin County Civil Service system.  Appointments to exempt positions in San Joaquin County are at will and not governed by Civil Service Rules.
