Introduction
The Lieutenant is the second supervisory level class in the Deputy Sheriff series. Employees of this class have command responsibility for the effective functioning of a major subdivision or perform special administrative work. The Sheriff’s Office is interested in candidates who can demonstrate leadership in facing the challenges of public sector law enforcement.
