Part I will not be scored nor used for determining minimum qualifications but is provided for the applicant to review prior to completing the questionnaire and may also be used when determining assignment.  Part II will be scored based on your checked responses.  Narratives provided by applicants describing training and/or experience will not be scored but will be available to the hiring authority and may be utilized for interview and selection determinations.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT RESOURCE AGENCY 


 

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT RESOURCE AGENCY The Agency provides centralized administration and support services to departments under the Community Development Resource Agency (CDRA) umbrella: Planning, Building Inspection, and Engineering and Surveying.  Programs specific to CDRA include environmental review coordination, geographic information services (GIS), information technology support, accounting, auditing, and front counter services, including Tahoe functions and Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) interface.


 

 

PUBLIC WORKS AND FACILITIES


 

FACILITIES: Includes the following divisions: Building Maintenance: Building maintenance, construction, and custodial services for County facilities; Parks & Grounds: Operation, maintenance and construction services of park facilities, provides grounds maintenance for county-owned facilities; Museums: Offers exhibits and educational programs, processing and preservation of historic artifacts; Capital Improvements: Plans, designs, constructs facilities; Eastern Regional Landfill: Monitors and maintains Eastern Regional Landfill, and manages the Eastern Regional Material Recovery Facility; Solid Waste Management: Manages collection and disposal of solid/hazardous waste and recyclable materials; Dewitt Development: Real estate services, including leasing, property management, and acquisitions; Environmental Utilities: Provides sewage collection, disposal, recycling, garbage collection, landfill operation, domestic water service, drainage maintenance, and water for fire protection.

 

PUBLIC WORKS: Includes the following divisions:  Transportation, Roadways and Bridges, Fleet Services, Road Maintenance, NPDES and Administration with offices located in Auburn and North Lake Tahoe.  Provides public transportation, engineering design and construction, storm-water management, bridge rehabilitations, and roadway maintenance of public roads including snow removal.
