JOB REQUIREMENTS for Therapist I
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:

1. Possession of a Bachelors degree or higher.
2. Depending on job assignment possession of one of the following certification, license or registration:

• Certified by the American Occupational Therapy Association or eligible for certification.
• Delaware Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for a Delaware license.
• Certified Music Therapist by the Certified Board for Music Therapists or eligible for certification.
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification or eligible for certification.
• Delaware Audiology License or eligible for a Delaware license.
• Delaware Speech Language Pathology license or eligibility for a Delaware license.
• Registered Art Therapist by the American Art Therapy Association or eligible for registration.
• Registered Dance Therapist by the American Dance Therapy Association or eligible for registration.
• Registered Drama Therapist by the National Association for Drama Therapy or eligible for registration.
