Human Resources Analyst - Employee Services

The purpose of this questionnaire is to identify the best qualified candidates for this exciting opportunity. Here are a few things to remember while applying for this position:

  4. This position is being posted as a "Provisional" appointment. The selected candidate will need to apply for the Citywide Permanent Civil Service exam announcement and successfully complete all exam components in order to be considered for permanent appointment to this position. The permanent civil service exam will be posted between April and June of 2017.

Routine office tasks done in support of a Human Resources Department or unit such as filing, copying, data entry, looking up employee information in electronic or paper files or systems, communicating general information and policies to applicants and employees.

Professional Human Resources Experience:
Complex and technical duties that require interpretation, analysis, judgement, decision making, and/or application of rules, policies, regulations and/or guidelines in order to deliver Human Resources services to a department, agency, or company. Experience may include the recruitment and selection of employees, classification and compensation analysis/administration, employee and/or labor relations experience, benefits administration, position management, on-boarding, competency modeling, and/or employee training.
