3264 Camp Assistant Supplemental Questionnaire

This Supplemental Questionnaire gathers job-specific information in order to expedite the selection process and attend to some administrative matters. Please read all of the items carefully and respond to each completely.

Camp Assistants work 6-days per week, as needed, and staff a variety of shifts, including weekends. The 2017 season begins on April 1 and ends on September 23. The season is divided into three phases: startup, high season, and wind-down. Please select which, if any, of the following phases you are available to work without interruption:

Camp Mather is a family venue with guests of all ages. We need well-rounded staff who can work with guests, enhance their camp experience, and help them to enjoy a wonderful vacation. There is a full recreation program 7 days per week. The next 5 items gather information to help determine whether your interests align with Camp Mather's recreational offerings.

We present a staff talent show for guests. Participation in this talent show is mandatory. In the box below, please provide examples of how you envision yourself playing a role in our talent show.

Employees live in close quarters and in public view of guests. In the box below, please explain what you would do to keep the interior of your living space clean and keep the exterior presentable to the public.

This item identifies any certifications and work experience you possess that may qualify you for special assignments AND may qualify you for a dual employment classification. You MUST attach, in PDF format, a copy of any certifications which you check below. All Camp Assistants wear a department-issued t-shirt while on duty. Therefore, please choose the size of t-shirt that you would like us to order for you if you are selected for this position.

If you are located less than a 2-hour drive from San Francisco, then you are required to attend an in-person interview. However, if you are located more than a 2-hour drive from San Francisco, then you may request a Skype interview. Please indicate below as appropriate.
