Baxter Manufacturing - Process Technician

Baxter Enterprises and Hi-Tech Mold & Engineering, recognized as leaders in the plastics and tooling industries. Owned by the Schulte family, the companies are full-service suppliers for the plastics industry that specialize in single-point management from conception to launch. The two operations complement one another. Hi-Tech Mold & Engineering, founded in 1982, designs, builds and repairs molds and provides mold services; while Baxter Enterprises, founded in 1997, manufactures injection-molded parts.

Process Technician

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years injection mold processing experience in an automotive environment
• Must be able to make process adjustments on injection molding machines, assist with color changes, work toward continuous improvement of cycle times, scrap reduction, and efficiencies
• Must have experience with processing the following plastics: TPO, PP, ABS, PC/ABS, Nylon (filled and non-filled)
• Experience with Engel injection machines desired. RJG education a plus
• Continuous standing, walking, regular and predictable attendance
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing
• Working in/around moving machinery and equipment
