Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician:   

Must be able to understand all electrical and mechanical requirements of the machinery, components, and electrical wiring for all machines in the plant
Must be able to tear down, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild electrical and mechanical devices and components
Must be able to run, bend, and install electrical conduit and computer wiring systems
Must understand all state and local electrical code requirements
Must have working knowledge of wiring diagrams and schematic drawings, be able to read and interpret electrical blueprints, and be able to re-wire parts, components, and electrical motors
Must have working knowledge of voltage, amps, ohms, wiring, electrical mains, and junction boxes
Must be willing to perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Experience requirements:  

• 2 years of formal technical school training
• Associates degree in mechatronics, technology, or engineering would be ideal
• 3 or more years of electrical maintenance experience
• Manufacturing environment preferred
• Textile experience is an asset

This is a 1st shift position.
