Full time direct-hire opportunity is available for:
Plant Maintenance
Key Responsibilities
Maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, and factory infrastructure, according to the specifications and standards of the Plant Manager and/or General Manager, which will assure timely manufacturing of products to customer specifications. All work and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and factory infrastructure will be performed according to accepted building codes and OSHA-approved safety standards.
Duties:

Creates and maintains proactive preventative maintenance programs for machinery, equipment, and factory infrastructure

Completes daily, weekly, monthly, and other scheduled preventative maintenance of designated machinery and equipment
-
Complies with all accepted building codes and OSHA regulations
-
Assists the Safety Coordinator by observing and correcting noted safety violations
-
Assists in training and/or interacting with team members to help meet established goals and standards
-
Assures that work areas are kept clean and free of debris during work hours
-
Requires leaving clean work areas at the end of the shift
-
Other duties that may be assigned on an as-required basis
Responsibilities:

Maintains a safe work environment, making certain that anyone around the areas will not be in jeopardy to injury

Follows procedures detailed in the Company Handbook and in other documents

Demonstrates a professional attitude when approaching work assignment.

Displays an awareness to maximize the utilization of materials and to minimize waste of materials

Displays a sense of urgency towards completing assigned tasks

Assists in developing solutions to problems

Assures the quality of work produced is acceptable to company standards and specifications
-
Performs job tasks with worker safety being the priority
-
Maintains outstanding attendance and is available to help in emergency situations
Qualifications/Requirements
-
Ability to read and interpret maintenance and owner’s manuals, understands specifications, and safety regulations
-
Possess technical training or previous experience in maintenance work
-
Capable of learning new skills as needed
-
Have knowledge of materials and processes that relate to the company’s products
-
Must be detail-oriented
Additional Requirements:
Qualified applicants will also have the ability to work various shifts to meet business needs; flexibility to answer calls from home as work-related issues may arise; ability to stand for prolonged periods of time; and ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Travel to customer within the USA.
Job Relationships: Reports directly to the Plant Manager and/or the General Manager.
