Potential employment opportunities exist for:

 

Material Handler 

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the loading and unloading of material within a warehouse or storage facility, and to effectively and efficiently stage all material at designated loading/unloading areas for distribution. 

 

 

Position Responsibilities     

  • Transport merchandise from receiving dock or reserve slots to the proper location in the warehouse
  • Maintain accurate records of quantities, pack size and description
  • Stack cases and rotate merchandise
  • Pull material to deliver to production lines
  • Move finished product from production to designated storage area
  • Pull finished product from storage and load onto trailers
  • Unload material from trailers
  • Keep work area clean by cleaning up spills and trash
  • Change battery in forklift, when applicable
  • Complete inspection form on equipment operated
  • Works in a safe and effective manner
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

 Skills and Experience  

 

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to a 10-hour shift
  • Must be able to lift objects weighing 20-80 lbs., occasionally lifting objects more than 90 lbs.
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Operating RF scanners and other hand-held devices
  • Drive, motivation, and passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
  • At least one year of forklift experience would be preferred but is not necessary
