Logistics (Shipping/Receiving) Clerk

Job Duties:

• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Posts incoming goods into SAP and creates paperwork for outgoing shipments.  Send ASN’s and check to be sure that ASN was received.
• Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, records damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Conducts cycle counts as required
• Operates lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage, work area, or incoming inspection area.
• Maintain FIFO working in the material flow.
• Reviews valid Procedures, Job Instructions, and Organizational Instructions.
• Ensure cleanliness and keep the Shipping/Receiving area in order.

Experience Required:

• High school or equivalency education and basic math skills, ability to read and write.  Experience working with SAP is beneficial.
• Experience in manufacturing environment with over 1 year of forklift experience.
• Experience driving Stand Up (Reacher) and Sit Down Hilo.
• Knowledge working in a Shipping/Receiving department in an automotive environment.
• Good Math and Communication Skills.

Starting wage is up to $20 per hour depending on experience.  Great opportunity for career growth.
