Sewing/Cutting Operator
Job Description: We are seeking a Sewing Operator to sew cases to be stuffed for making pillows
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Read the measurements of the stack of cloth to be sewed and obtain the proper border
-
Sew a border to the bottom piece of material
-
Sew the top pieces of the fabrics to the other end of the border
-
Hem the edges as needed
-
Add zippers as needed
-
Sew knife edges as needed
-
Perform general maintenance to the machines as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
-
3 to 6 months of related experience and/or training
-
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondences, and memos.
-
Ability to add subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Physical Demands:
-
Ability to regularly sit, use hands to finger, hands, and arms.
-
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
