Assistant Machine Operator  

Key Responsibilities

• Read and understand work orders, retrieve necessary materials, and make necessary adjustments to machine parameters to fulfill specific orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisor of any shortages.
• Monitor for quality issues and follow procedures to ensure quality standards are being met.
• Coordinate and assist other departments as necessary to ensure completion of requirements.
• Maintain equipment and ensure work area is cleaned daily.

Key Requirements

• Qualified applicants will have one year of manufacturing experience. (Preferred experience in slitting, sheeting, cutting, or converting)
• This position requires attention to detail and accuracy, as well as a sense of urgency.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have great attendance and be reliable.

Additional Requirements

• Qualified applicants will also have the ability to work various shifts to meet business needs; ability to stand for prolonged periods of time; and ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
