Job Summary: The purpose of the Paint Product Technician is to support new model launch and Program Management. 

 

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Describe and visualize assembly methods for Quality-related problems in running production.
  • Participates in and performs test assemblies.
  • Participates in verification of product changes.
  • Collects data for analysis of quality problems.
  • Executes diverse measurements.
  • Participates in required meetings.
  • Documents test assemblies.
  • Follow-up on required key points.
  • Executes statistical calculations.
  • Upon request, supports production with problem analysis.
  • Supports during introduction of containments/temporary actions. 

 

 

 

Job Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree or high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of work experience.
    • Practical experience from the production process.
    • Specific technical/practical competencies can be required depending on working area/shop.
    • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point.
    • Results-oriented.
    • Cooperative.
    • Must be flexible and willing to travel.
    • Availability (if needed) during the different shifts (day/night and weekends).
    • Team player Ability to work independently
    • Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred.
    • Proven experience and technical knowledge in a highly-automated manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry. Work Keys:

    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to be trained and certified to drive a forklift
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to legally work in the US without sponsorship.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and satisfactory background check.
