Quality Assurance Specialist
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a Quality Management System-QMS (FSSC, HACCP, Gluten, USDA, ISO22000) and CIP
- Create all required documents to quality (SOP’s, Policies, GMP’s, CCP’s) and ensure plant is executing the consistently
- Keep current with government regulations, and/or any certifications that have been obtained.
- Have a good understanding of plant and operation
- Train and assist plant manager, supervisors, and all employees on implementation of the quality system
- Monitor and document the quality activities and procedures, conducting quality control test
- Manage the sanitation program
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or a High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience
- Food industry experience required
- Effective oral and written communication skills
