Currently Hiring: Instrumentation & Controls Technician Job Code: SC 16 - 29 Toray Carbon Fibers America, Inc. a world leader in the manufacturing of carbon fiber is seeking qualified applicants for an instrumentation and controls technician for our new South Carolina facility. The Instrumentation & Controls Technician is responsible for maintaining and upgrading the Distributed Control System including program changes, modification and/or new applications. Provide technical assistance to other maintenance, technical engineering and operation personnel in the installation of PLC systems and program changes to PLC programs. Monitor and ensure that the DCS hardware, DCS software, and other control equipment is functioning correctly and is properly maintained to provide reliable service to plant operations.

General requirements include, but are not limited to: Equivalent to a college degree (non-technical discipline) or multi-craft skills acquired through extensive on-the-job training or apprenticeship programs or in-depth industry and job specific technician skills acquired through a combination of formal instruction and on-the-job training.
