The Employees Group Insurance Division is seeking a full time Plan Analyst for our Oklahoma City location. This is an Unclassified position within Oklahoma State Government. In addition to a generous Benefits Packet the annual salary for this position is up to $55,000.00 based on education and experience.
This position is assigned responsibility of assisting Senior Plan Analyst in the planning, coordination, monitoring, interface testing for all policy and procedures, Business Plan, databases, tracking components and other associated initiatives. This position is assigned responsibilities involving the performance of professional and technical work relating to the administration of health, dental, health savings accounts, life and disability and other insurance programs and initiatives for state, education and local government employees and retirees. This includes development, preparation and analysis of utilization and cost reports and preparation of proposals for benefit or procedural changes.
•An indepth, very complex mentoring program including processes, procedures, data analytics, observing management of vendors and all projects under the direction of the supervisor.
•Research and evaluate global issues and develop proposals for presentation for consideration.
•Develop and implement extensive policies and procedures for all initiatives.
•Update, maintains, reports, trends and identify areas for improvements within databases for member and provider issues.
•Initiate and propose effective new ideas for improving the plan and/or outcomes.
•Responsible for the development, maintenance, policies and procedures for all fee schedules.
•Responsible for quality assurance initiatives for all projects.
•Innovative thinking for projects and initiatives as assigned.
•Program management and development of all initiatives for all Partners.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
*Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle several high-priority projects simultaneously.
*Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Must be proficient and have current skills and extensive background of working in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Outlook and be able to manipulate data with an emphasis on quality.
*Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationship with others and work effectively in a group.
*Must have extensive knowledge in development and implementation of written policies and procedures.
*Must be able to request, produce, analyze and provide Executive Summaries for reports and projects with impact analysis to the Sr. Plan Analyst.
*Must be able to assert, vocalize and expand knowledge and offer suggestions for initiatives.
*Must have the ability to research complex initiatives and access all resources to obtain the global comprehensive analysis.
*Must have knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to various types of health, dental, life, flexible benefits, vision, disability and federally mandated programs.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health Administration, Project Management and/or a related field; four years of experience in research, development and review of Health, Dental and Life benefits or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Special consideration will be given for experience in program/project administration.
