Mental Health Practitioner/Licensed Mental Health Practitioner
HOPE and Senior Peer Counseling Program
The Marin County Health & Human Services Department, HOPE and Senior Peer Counseling Program, is currently seeking Mental Health Practitioners interested in a full-time, extra hire opportunity. The ideal candidate for this position will have mental health case management background and will be comfortable working with a diverse and vulnerable older adult population. Candidate must have experience in home-based services and must be comfortable meeting clients wherever they may be. They should be able to work in a high volume, fast paced work environment and be able to manage psychiatric crisis.

Mental Health Registered Nurse
Psychiatric Emergency Services
The Marin County Health & Human Services Department is seeking Mental Health Registered Nurses interested in extra hire positions who have previous experience working in a mental health setting, working in a multi-disciplinary team, have strong nursing assessment skills and are comfortable screening for medical and substance abuse issues. The RN will function as the registered nurse on duty at Marin County Psychiatric Emergency Services.

Stormwater Engineering Technician I
Department of Public Works
The Marin County Department of Public Works (DPW) is currently accepting Extra-Hire (temporary) applications for two Stormwater Engineering Technician I positions (Tech I). The Extra-Hire Tech I team will work on a storm drain system mapping and data collection project for the DPW Waste Management Division/Stormwater Program, the DPW Flood Control Division and for the DPW Roads Division.
The ideal candidate will have experience conducting fieldwork in an environmental studies, science, engineering or related field. Experience with data entry and management and with Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment and Geographical Information Systems is also desired. The extra-hire positions are funded through June 30, 2017. Each extra-hire must be available to work at least 30 hours/week and may work up to 37.5 hours/week.
