Main Purpose of Job

As the Assistant Director of Accounting for the Central Collection Unit, this position will be responsible for assisting he Director of Accounting in the management and operations of the department. This includes all facets of managing of the people and processes including the review and streamlining of processes and responsibilities, the hiring, supervision and training of employees. Additionally, this position serves to motivate ad mentor department employees. This position will serve as a high level contact to all of CCU's client agencies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory, communication, processing management skills, advanced knowledge of Excel and will have excellent problem solving skills.

This is a management service position that will serve at the pleasure of the appointing authority.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related degree.

Experience: Four years of supervisory experience and two years of experience in Excel.
