Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to direct the activities of the Division of Systems Liaison. This position is responsible for directing all IT projects implemented by the Systems Liaison Services staff. This includes design, development, testing, and implementation. This position must also direct all Quality Assurance practices which includes the Change Management process; meeting with federal and state Auditors to discuss program migrations; security and access controls. This position monitors and reacts to changes in the Health Care and its impact to the Medical Care Program and its computer system to assure that quality services are processed in a cost effective method.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field, 3 years of experience managing IT staff and 5 years of Information Technology experience.

Additional managerial experience can be substituted for the required Bachelor's degree on a year-to-year basis.

Associates degree and two additional years of IT experience can substitute for the required Bachelor's degree.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Medicaid and MMIS experience is desired.

This is a Management Service position, and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.  A resume must accompany your application.
