Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
Position duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Examination, evaluation, and investigation of all applications to provide assurance that applicants meet suitability requirements as established by law;
- Supports duties required by the Director of Enforcement, Manager of Enforcement, Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager of Compliance as mandated; Develop comprehensive reports and forms that support the divisions efficiency and effectiveness;
- Provides daily supervision to clerical employee;
- Maintain excel databases applicable to the position;
- Prepare correspondences as directed;
- Make recommendations for the purpose of efficiency and effectiveness to upper management;
- Manages, enforces and oversees the confidentiality of highly sensitive information;
- Notifies and reviews with all internal investigative staff, any implemented procedural changes regarding investigations;
- Acts as a liaison between management team and agency units;
- Provides top level customer services to all individuals or entities that have business with the Enforcement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience: One (I) year experience in administrative or professional work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute additional experience in administrative staff or professional work on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
2. Candidates may substitute additional graduate level education at an accredited college or university at the rate of 30 semester credit hours for each year of the required experience.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work that included regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year-for-year basis for the required education and experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to interpret and apply a variety of laws, rules, regulations, standards and procedures in the performance of work duties.
- Experience working within the gaming industry.
