Main Purpose of Job

Providing expert knowledge and formulating and implementing policies/procedures for all Family Investment Programs (FIA); providing monitoring and oversight to Family Investment staff concerning payment accuracy strategies for FIA programs, which includes monitoring the completion of appeals and overpayments accurately and timely, along with the Pre- Review Direct System, Quality Control (QC) findings, office of the Inspector General (OIG) concerning fraud investigations and administrative disqualification activity, and provide local responses to the Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) concerning appeals; researching processes/procedures concerning FIA programs and program findings as requested by upper level staff, drafting Standard Operating Procedures and other documents; providing training to staff on agency policy as required by upper level staff; coordinating IPV policies and procedures; and Monitoring compliance with initiatives set forth from the County, State and Federal programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

It is imperative to list all computer and software experience on your application pertaining to your job duties.  

Education:  Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

Experience:  Four years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations.

Notes:

1. Applicants may substitute additional professional or technical experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations on a year-for-year basis for the required education.

2. Applicants may substitute education at the graduate level at an accredited college or university in a human services related field at the rate of 30 semester hours per year for up to two years of the required experience.

3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Administrative Officer classifications or Administrative Officer specialty codes in the General, Administrative, Clerical, and Office Services field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education. 

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess:

1.One year of Supervisory experience.
2.One year of experience in a Family Investment Administration (FIA) program.
3.One year of experience writing policies and/or procedures.
