LOCATION OF POSITION

Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to provide/coordinate administrative and clinical operations of a 24-hour, 14 bed clinically managed, low intensity, long-term, residential substance abuse treatment program (CAMEO House) for pregnant women and women with up to three children, newborn to 12. This position provides and coordinates administrative and clinical operations of the outreach and outpatient substance abuse treatment services for women. Duties consist of preparation and management of a $1.4 million budget, formulate and implement policies and procedures, recruitment, hire, and supervise six clinical and 12 direct care staff, one clerical and one building and grounds, monitor and coordinate the maintenance and physical conditions of the program campus, eight buildings, grounds, and three vehicle fleet.
Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in nursing, social work, psychology, education, counseling, or a related field.
Experience: Six years professional experience in health services, three of which must have been in professional work related to treatment and services to persons with alcohol or other substance addiction, and three of which must have been at the managerial or supervisory level.
Notes: 1. Applicants may substitute a master’s or Doctoral degree in a health or human services field for up to two years of the required general experience.
2. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in another field plus an additional year of professional experience in health services may be substituted for the specific degree.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Health Services Administration specialty codes in the health related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred: Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) or Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LCPC)
