The main purpose of this position is to be responsible for providing individual, group, and/or family therapy through the Outpatient program in order to improve the functioning of the individual(s) served. This position will deliver mental health services to consumers according to current program guidelines including behavioral health diagnostic evaluations. This position may also develop treatment plans with consumers to identify treatment needs and/or services as well as complete daily contact notes/monthly progress notes to maintain accurate clinical records according to the program guidelines.

Education: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists under the requirements for Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).

Experience: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists under the requirements for Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).

1. In accordance with Health Occupations Title 17 and Code of Maryland Regulations 10.58.01.05, candidates placed in this classification must be licensed by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). ***Please be sure to submit a copy of your licensure with your completed application.***

2. Candidates appointed to positions in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
