Main Purpose of Job

The main responsibility of this position is resource partnership development to secure opportunities within the life domains required to prepare youth in foster care to be ready by 21.The Program Manager is responsible for developing and managing resource contacts for services to youth as dictated by Ready By 21 program goals; for developing implementation strategies to utilize community based resources across Permanency programs; and for managing and supervising various levels of staff. Duties for this position include: Contract development & management, budget oversight, and technical support to internal customers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Master's Degree in Social Work from a college or university accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

Experience: Seven (7) years of professional social work experience in a public or private agency or institution and (3) years of this experience must have been in supervisory capacity.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Candidates must be a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW), Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) or a Licensed Certified  Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) certified by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners.
