POSITION DUTIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or a Bachelor's in Business with at least 30 credits in accounting or related courses to include at least 6 credits in auditing); or a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or a related field with at least 30 credits in cyber security.
Experience: Five years of experience conducting operational internal audits that include elements for finance, compliance, economy and efficiency, and program results. Three years of experience must include creating, implementing, and managing internal audit programs.
NOTE: Candidates may substitute additional experience on a year -for- year basis for the required education.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Experience implementing or auditing NIST 800-53
- Risk Management Framework controls
- Experience implementing or auditing NIST
- Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure
- Cyber Security controls
- Excellent communication and client presentation skills; verbal, written, and telephone
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and users
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Understanding of industry's best practices
- Ability to continuously improve process, procedures and focus on efficiency
EXAMINATION PROCESS
This is a Management Service position. The incumbent will serve at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.
The examination will consist of a rating of your education, training and experience. Qualifying applicants are subject to an oral interview. Prior to appointment, the selected candidate must successfully undergo a comprehensive background investigation including a review of criminal, MVA and tax records; and determination of legal authorization to work in the United States or under the United States Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
