MBP COMPLIANCE ANALYST, INVESTIGATIONS

The main purpose of the position of a Compliance Analyst is to develop and be responsible for compliance cases at the Maryland Board of Physicians from the initial complaint stage through final disposition and probation. This is a full performance level of work conducting investigations of licensed health care practitioners.

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or university.

Experience: One year of experience conducting investigations in the areas of health care, insurance, medical malpractice or other related investigative experience as defined by Maryland Board of Physicians.

Notes:

1.  Experience conducting investigations in the area of health care, insurance, medical malpractice or other related investigative experience as defined by the Maryland Board of Physicians may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.

2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Legal or Investigator classification or Legal or Investigator specialty codes in the Investigation field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
