Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to perform the higher level duties of a Human Resource Generalist which could include classification, compensation, and recruitment. The incumbent performs job analyses and evaluations, conducts desk audits, writes position study memos, and confers with and advises DLLR line staff, supervisors and administrators in classification and compensation matters.
POSITION DUTIES
Analyze and evaluates position requests for reclassification in all occupational classification series by utilizing class files, histories, prior studies and consult with personnel professionals to make classification determinations.
Review all terminations from the Workday System entered by another employee to ensure the information is accurately reflected to account for resignations, retirements, or transfers to other departments.
Create JobAps recruitment requisitions and planners/position announcements for HR partner/DBM review and approval.
Writes accurate and complete position study memorandum using the Department of Budget and Management guidelines for study memorandums for position classification purposes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
One year of experience in Workday, JobAps, Classification and Compensation.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
All candidates are subject to a background check against files maintained by the Division of Unemployment Insurance (DLLR/DUI) to determine whether any monies are owed to DLLR/DUI as a result of unemployment insurance overpayment/fraud. Any unpaid debt may have an impact on whether or not a candidate is offered employment.
