DHMH, Office of Information Technology, Infrastructure/Network Division, Baltimore, MD

Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to provide managerial level direction for multiple information technology activities and staffs with the Infrastructure/Network Division (IND). To assist IND Director in areas including systems analysis, technical support, networks, information services, technical staff support, storage area networks, network security, virtual infrastructures and others as identified by Director to support the Agency's mission and operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 5 years of professional IT experience.  A Master’s degree will substitute for one year of the required experience.

SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

5 years of experience with Expert level hands-on configuration of Cisco ASA Firewalls, Switches, and Routers; expert level hands-on configuration of VMware vSphere Infrastructure components; experience level hand-on configuration of Active Directory in a large scale, multi-site enterprise environment.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred candidates will possess expert level experience with Cisco routing and switching, network security principles, virtual infrastructures, Netapp SAN technologies and advanced Active Directory management for large scale enterprise environments.
