LOCATION OF POSITION
Holly Center, Salisbury, MD
Main Purpose of Job
To provide occupational therapy services to include assessment, treatment planning and implementation and evaluation as requested by the interdisciplinary team. These services will focus on maintaining individual's health and safety and promoting participation in daily life activities at their maximum level of independence.
Education: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice under the licensing requirements for Occupational Therapists.
Experience: One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
Note: Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Therapy classifications or Therapy specialty codes in the Occupation Therapy field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
1. Candidates for positions in this classification must possess a current license as an Occupational Therapist from the Maryland State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice, Spring Grove Hospital Center, 55 Wade Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21228.
2. Employees in this classification may be required to successfully complete and maintain current certification of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.
3. Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.

The incumbent in this position is a member of a covered bargaining unit and will be required to pay a bi-weekly service fee to the exclusive representative of the bargaining unit.
