LOCATION OF POSITION

Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to serve as Property Officer for Springfield Hospital. Duties include, but are not limited to: disposing of furniture/equipment; handling repairs required during life expectancy of furniture/equipment, including all medical equipment; scheduling moves; and, performing physical inventory when required. This position will supervise lower-level Supply Officers and Summer Students.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Five years of experience in receiving, storing and issuing supplies, materials and equipment in a storeroom, warehouse or other supply storage facility.
Notes: 1. Additional experience as described above may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience at a rank of Corporal/Petty Officer or higher as a non- commissioned officer in logistics specialist classifications or administrative support specialty codes in the logistics field of work, on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
