Main Purpose of Job

The Services Specialist is the full performance level of work directing one or more general services functions. The main purpose of this position is to provide clerical and fiscal support to the administration of the Caroline County Health Department. The successful candidate should have prior experience with the EDRS system and FMIS system, prior experience with fleet inventory and maintenance, and must be a current employee of the Caroline County Health Department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:    Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience:  Two years experience in general services functions, office administration activities or in the receiving, storing, issuance, purchase or requisition of equipment, materials, and parts and supplies.

NOTE:

1. Additional experience as stated above may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.

2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in logistics specialist classifications or administrative support specialty codes in the logistics field of work, on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

The desired candidate should have prior experience with the EDRS system and FMIS system and also have prior experience with fleet inventory and maintenance.
