Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
Supervision of Program- Administers and supervises all functions with the Employment program to include job readiness, job retention, job development, job placement process, the WORKS process, paid internship process, non custodial parent program and the work experience process.
Planning and Evaluation of the Program - Meets with vendors, employers, and the community partners. Review current processes, proposals and makes recommendations to increase efficiency within the program.
Consultation and Guidance - Must provide consultation and technical assistance regarding data that is entered into WORKS. Must run daily and weekly reports to ensure goals are being met. Supervises the Data Manager. Develops and implements a full range of support services for customers, including child care, transportation, clothing, specialized training and other supports. May make home visits to asses needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience: One (I) year experience in administrative or professional work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute additional experience in administrative staff or professional work on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
2. Candidates may substitute additional graduate level education at an accredited college or university at the rate of 30 semester credit hours for each year of the required experience.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work that included the regular independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year to year basis for the required education and experience.

This office is approximately 190 miles northwest of Baltimore.
