LOCATION OF POSITION

Harkins Rd Lanham, MD 20706

DHCD's Headquarters Office is located in Prince George's County at the New Carrollton Metro stop.

POSITION DUTIES

This position will learn to monitor, evaluate and analyze the performance of multi-family properties to assure regulatory compliance with DHCD loan documents. The AMO will learn to review the financial, administrative, and physical condition of assets, advising supervisors of problems and assisting owners and property managers to implement solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience: Two years providing staff support in commercial or multi-family housing project asset management.

Notes: 

  1. Additional experience providing staff support in commercial or multi-family housing project asset management may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
  2. A Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for the required experience.
  3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in the Financial Analysis classification series or Financial Analysis specialty codes on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.

LIMITATIONS ON SELECTION

This recruitment is limited to candidates willing to work in Prince George's County.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
