Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this full time contractual position is to provide community based case management and to identify intervention needs of adults with co-occurring disorders.  The incumbent will perform outreach to addiction clients and may assist clients with transportation to self help groups.   The employee will also attend meetings and training as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience: None. 

Note:

 1. Experience providing assistance to individuals in a health care or social services setting may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in Health Services classifications or Health Services and specialty codes in the health related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience. 

 

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.

SELECTION PROCESS

This is a full time contractual position.
