Main Purpose of Job

As an Executive Associate for the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange, the main purpose of this position is to provide high-level administrative support to two Directors. This position will: schedule, organize and/or coordinate meetings, events, training sessions, interviews, appointments, speaking engagements, travel arrangements and conferences with internal and external individuals; manage the Director's calendar and email; plan and coordinate presentations as requested; distribute information as requested; handle special projects and/or department specific assignments on an as-needed and sometimes urgent basis; act as an intermediary on the Director's behalf with other State and Federal agency officials, MHBE Board of Trustee members, contractors and other stakeholders; and, receive and manage visitors and telephone calls.

MINIMUM EDUCATION OR GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:    Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

EXPERIENCE:   Five years of experience in secretarial work.
