MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of ninth grade; and
Possession of a valid Driver License.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of event operations and maintenance of public assembly facilities
  • Working knowledge in the use of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Working knowledge of safety procedures in the use of supplies and equipment
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle between sites
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively with others

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

Note: The following duties are illustrative and not exhaustive. Depending on assigned area of responsibility, incumbents in the position may perform one or more of the activities described below. 

  • Assists electricians, plumbers, masons, landscapers, maintenance, HVAC and equipment mechanics in operating and repairing gas/electric equipment.
  • Paints, caulks and spackles.
  • Mows grass, trims hedges, plant and spray/weed landscaping beds.
  • Cleans and replaces supplies in restrooms and disposes of trash.
  • Sweeps floors and cleans sidewalks.
  • Reports damages to facilities, grounds and equipment.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Conclusion
