Summary Statement

The Facility Coordinator is responsible for coordinating youth facilities and wedding events as well as providing outstanding customer service.  Applicants must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays as scheduled.

Essential Functions

Essential functions are fundamental, core functions common to all position in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class.  Since class specifications are descriptive and not restrictive, incumbents can complete job duties of similar kind not specifically listed here.

  • Provide customer services by explaining regulations, answering visitor requests, needs and complaints, and providing information about the park and surrounding areas.
  • Answer phones, screen calls and make follow-up phone calls.
  • Show facilities to potential clients, repairmen; Conduct check in and check out procedures.
  • Schedule groups for the Youth Camps, Primitive Camp, and staff dorm as well as facilitate sites, and follow up with appropriate paperwork.
  • Serve as liaison with the public, clients, staff and others to exchange information and explain services, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. 
  • Maintain and control data and/or filing systems to ensure effective, accurate and easily retrievable documentation of operations, program and project activities.
  • Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills.
  • Maintain a positive attitude. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

  1. Six months experience in interpreting rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  2. Six months experience in office operations and functions.
  3. Six months experience in cash handling, writing receipts.
  4. Six month experience using Microsoft Office Programs including Outlook, Excel, and Publisher.
