Summary Statement

This position is responsible for researching, developing, writing, and reporting on grants within Delaware State Parks. Additionally, this position performs administrative and support activities for the Grant office. The incumbent reports to the Grants Administrator.

Essential Functions

Essential functions are fundamental, core functions common to all position in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class.  Since class specifications are descriptive and not restrictive, incumbents can complete job duties of similar kind not specifically listed here.

  • Develops systems and tools for reporting of grant data from implementation sites.
  • Collects, aggregates and reports grant data to grant funders.
  • Maintain reporting schedules for all current and prospective grantors.
  • Work with staff to strategize and maximize potential for success to fulfill grant expectations.
  • Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills.
  • Maintains and reports on hours of service and other records as required.
  • Performs other related work as required.

Job Requirements

  1. Six months experience in educational grant writing and reporting.
  2. Six months experience with MSOffice and Logic Models.
  3. Knowledge of natural, cultural, and historical resources.
