Seasonal Revenue Attendant

Summary Statement

The seasonal position will sell ferry tickets, park permits and retail items, provide customer service by explaining regulations, answer visitor requests, and provide information about the park and surrounding areas.  Responsibilities may include completing daily deposits, creating associated revenue reports; taking park program reservations, maintaining retail merchandise, running an automated sales program and other clerical duties as required.   Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled and must be willing to work around boats and water.

  • Collecting appropriate fees and accountability for handling of money.
  • Serve as liaison with the public, clients, staff and others to exchange information and explain services, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Maintains and compiles fiscal and narrative records and reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service and park information to visitors.
  • Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Seasonal Revenue Attendant
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:

  1. Six months customer service experience.
  2. Six months experience in cash handling, writing receipts.
  3. Six months experience in using standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets or databases.
