Applicants for this position are required to submit responses to the following supplemental questions.  Your completed responses to the supplemental questionnaire will be evaluated to determine your qualifications and must be completed properly in order to be given full consideration for the next phase in the selection process. Additionally, your responses will also be evaluated and used in the selection process in order to identify the best qualified applicants.

What are evidence-based practices?  Please describe your experience developing, implementing, and providing oversight of an evidence-based program within a juvenile facility.

Please describe a time when you were involved in implementing a major new directive from executive management.  What was the directive?  What strategies did you employ to carry it out?

The Superintendent, Probation may be required to facilitate effective communication between labor unions and management.  Describe your most successful experience in developing such a collaborative and productive relationship.

The Superintendent, Probation must be adept at directing and evaluating various levels of sworn and unsworn personnel performing an array of duties.  Please describe your experience evaluating staff and addressing underperformance.
