Selection Process

Based on the information provided in the application documents, the qualified applicants will be invited for further examination. All applicants meeting the minimum qualifications are not guaranteed advancement through any subsequent phase of the examination. Depending upon the number of applications received, the selection process will consist of an initial application screening, review if supplemental questionaire, and an oral interview. A Bachelor's Degree is required for this position. Applicants are encouraged to submit either a copy of their degree OR official/unofficial transcripts which verify the date and degree conferred within 5 days from the date of application. However, proof of this education requirement must be submitted prior to appointment. Which level do you qualify for?

Journey Level: I have at least 4 years of work experience in the public sector involving fiscal operations, budget development, financial/budget analysis, legislative analysis, operational management, and general management of County functions.
Senior Level: I have at least 5 years of work experience in the public sector involving fiscal operations, budget development, financial/budget analysis, legislative analysis, operational management, and general management of County functions.

Please describe your professional experience as it relates directly to the Management Analyst position in each of the following areas:

Preparation and presentation of reports to governing bodies.

b

Budget experience including budget preparation, analysis, revenue forecasting, corrective action plans and monitoring. Please include the organization size, budget amount and specify the role you played and your level of responsibility.

Analyzing administrative and operational problems.

Coordinating projects involving two or more departments or jurisdictions.
