Introduction
San Joaquin County is seeking a proven leader to lead and manage the General Services Department.
The Director of General Services is responsible for directing the organization and administration of capital projects, building maintenance and repair, grounds maintenance, and property management for government buildings and County parks. The Director has responsibility for emergency preparedness in San Joaquin County and oversees the Office of Emergency Services. The Director of General Services is also responsible for Parks and Recreation in San Joaquin County and oversees the County’s parks programs and facilities.
The position is an executive level at-will position in San Joaquin County and reports directly to the County Administrator, receiving administrative direction.
