ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES / IT: There are currently two vacancies in the CalWIN unit. Desired experience includes CalWIN, C4, or Leader systems experience. Other positions supporting HHS applications include electronic medical records (primary care and/or behavioral health), child welfare, dentistry, and document management. Software applications currently used in this division include CalWIN, Avatar, CWS/CMS, EPIC, Dentrix, and SIRE.
CLERK-RECORDER-ELECTION'S OFFICE: The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with voting equipment, application support, back-up configuration, and firewalls.
DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE: This position is a Business Analyst / System Administrator and works with criminal justice systems. This position performs workstation support, user support, and training. Candidates considered for this position must undergo and pass a law enforcement background check.
PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT: This position is the PeopleSoft Benefits Administration Support Analyst. Experience with relational databases as well as PeopleSoft modules 8.9 or above in Benefits Administration, Base Benefits, HCM, Security, and PeopleTools is preferred. Additional duties include working with recruitment systems (JobAps), SiteCore, SIRE, employee performance management systems, customer support, and help desk duties.
SHERIFF'S OFFICE: This position works with criminal justice/biometric applications and integration solutions. Desired experience includes vendor management, system administration, and business and workflow analysis. This position works dayshift hours and is stationed at the Auburn Justice Center. Candidates considered for this position must undergo and pass a law enforcement background check.
To provide professional information technology support within an operating department including business systems analysis, system hardware and software support, and project management; and to document and analyze existing procedures and business requirements for the development and revision of computer applications and business processes through technology solutions.
This is the entry-level class in the Technology Solutions Analyst series. This class is distinguished from the journey level by the performance of more routine tasks and duties assigned to positions within this series. Employees at this level are not expected to perform with the same independence of direction and judgment on matters allocated to the journey level. It is expected the incumbents will possess either extensive operational knowledge or a fundamental knowledge of information technology support and have the ability to learn technical documentation and analytical methods to improve operations.
Receives general supervision from an assigned supervisor; and may receive technical and functional supervision from a Technology Solutions Analyst II or Senior Technology Solutions Analyst.

Experience: One year of advanced journey level technical information technology experience similar to a Senior Information Technology Technician with Placer County or two years of journey level technical information technology experience similar to a Information Technology Technician II with Placer County or two years of journey level professional operational experience in assigned department.
Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, public administration, computer science, or a related field.
Relevant, equivalent experience (performing the same or similar job requiring similar knowledge, skills, and abilities) may be substituted for the required education as determined by the Personnel Department.
Applicants receiving their degree outside the United States must submit proof of accreditation by a recognized evaluation agency.
License or Certificate: May need to possess a valid driver's license as required by the position. Proof of adequate vehicle insurance and medical clearance may also be required.

Based upon responses to the supplemental questionnaire, the applicant’s education, training and experience will be evaluated using a pre-determined formula. Scores from this evaluation will determine applicant ranking and placement on the eligible list.

For this purpose, a substantially similar classification is one at a lower level in the same classification (example: entry level vs. journey) and/or a similar classification (similar work performed, similar training and experience qualifications required).
