The Placer County Library is seeking self-motivated individuals with outstanding customer service skills to assist Library customers in the Tahoe City and Kings Beach libraries. Flexiblity is encouraged and schedules vary from eight to twenty hours per week.
Temporary/Extra Help assignments are limited to 999 hours (or 960 hours for CalPERS retired annuitants) in a fiscal year. This classification is not eligible to receive benefits and is not transitionable to permanent status.
To perform routine clerical duties in support of library operations and activities; to sort and shelve books and other library materials and to provide staff assistance to the public in busy library.
Receives general supervision from higher level library staff.

Training: Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
