Insurance – Benefits Coordinator
Make a difference in people’s lives at the Oklahoma Department of Mental and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS). This position provides consultant assistance regarding the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act, administers leave, worker’s compensation, insurance, retirement and other employee benefits programs, or special programs. Performs complex human resources management and employee benefit administration activities. Coordinates and manages benefit programs with all ODMHSAS facilities Human Resources personnel. Serves as a subject matter expert and primary liaison on insurance and benefits state wide.
Requirements: Five (5) years of complex experience in the Human Resources field in which two (2) of the years of experience should be related to management of insurance / benefit programs; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. No substitution is allowed for the required two (2) years of experience. Preference may be given to applicants with experience in PeopleSoft and BAS programs.
Salary $40,000; ODMHSAS offers excellent benefit & retirement packages.
