The Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) is a government agency providing services to other Oklahoma government agencies. Our mission is to be a “FAST” agency: Flatter, Agile, Streamlined, and Technology-enabled.  We are seeking a full time, unclassified Business Analyst for the Employee Group Insurance Division (EGID) in Oklahoma City. We offer a comprehensive Benefits Packet, and a competitive annual salary up to $49,831 based on education and experience. 
 
The role of the Business Analyst is to plan, execute, and finalize projects related to managing eligibility in the benefit and premium accounting system as well as with EDI transactions. This requires staff to develop specifications and test plans and coordinate testing between the employer groups and the agency as well as coordinate new features, functionality and version upgrades.
 
Principal Responsibilities:
 
•Coordinate the implementation of new import and export transactions conforming to HIPAA X12 EDI transactions
•Perform system administration of the eligibility system to include configuration changes, performance and trouble-shooting
•Work with business units to understand their needs and facilitate enacting requirements
•Stay current on format and regulatory changes
•Develop implementation guides for use by business partners and system users
•Ensure projects meet requirements and are completed per designated schedules
•Coordinate changes with vendors and agency staff

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

This position requires Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of information technology experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of qualifying experience in information technology for each year of the required education. Minimum of 2 years of Project Management or Business Analysis experience in a technology oriented capacity is required.
