Our mission is to be a “FAST” agency: Flatter, Agile, Streamlined, and Technology-enabled.  We are seeking a full time, unclassified Administrative Programs Officer for the Construction and Properties Department of the Division of Capital Assets Management. We offer a comprehensive Benefits Packet, and a competitive annual salary ranging from $38,000 to $43,500 based on education and experience.
  
The Administrative Programs Officer in the Construction and Properties Department is charged with performing specialized administrative support functions for value added programs related to the procurement of professional services in the construction industry. Will work with customers to provide efficient and effective procurement services. Additionally, shall assist the department with financial functions to include assisting with tracking of departmental encumbrances and budget, and the ability to serve as a P-Card holder.

Responsibilities:

Perform specialized administrative support functions for Value Added programs

Generate, track, and reconcile Purchase Orders

Receive and process vendor payment applications

Serve as P-Card holder

Perform departmental accounts payable, accounting & finance functions

Assist department employees in processing travel claims

Advise internal and external customers on procurement related statutes and rules

Effectively communicate with clients both orally and in writing

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in business, accounting, finance or related field;
AND
One year of experience in procurement related duties;
AND
One year of experience in accounts payable, accounting and/or finance processes;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Procurement Officer;

Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials;

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
