- The Fresno County Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Community Health, and Department of Behavioral Health have immediate openings for full and part-time Psychiatrists. J-1 waiver positions are also available.
- Working with a team of behavioral health professionals, our Psychiatrists work with licensed clinicians and psychiatric residents to provide quality services to our community.
- Psychiatrists serve on an "at-will" basis as part of unclassified civil service and all positions are complemented with an excellent salary and benefits package, including one of the most competitive retirement plans in the state.
- Qualified candidates will be board-eligible or board-certified.
- Current available positions enjoy a Monday through Friday, day schedule with extra compensation for direct or phone coverage of an out-patient crisis unit, and NO (sleep-in) on-call. Some positions may require on-call or weekend coverage on an occasional basis.
