The Statewide Benefits Office administers Health and related benefits to approximately 122,000 State of Delaware employees, pensioners and dependents covered under the State Group Health insurance program. The Office of Pensions supports benefits administration and provides benefits customer service for State of Delaware pensioners. This position will be assigned to the Statewide Benefits Office and report to the Office of Pensions to assist in the administration of the Medicare Part D prescription drug program. as well as, to assist with customer service and counseling of State Pensioners regarding health, dental, and vision benefits. The chosen candidate will be responsible for working independently, meeting deadlines, maintaining detailed records for audit and compliance purposes, and the review, analysis and processing of various reporting associated with the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Program and will interact daily with pensioners as well as contacts at the Statewide Benefits Office and the state’s Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Program Administrator. Qualified candidates will have experience with Microsoft Excel. Strong organizational, time management and customer service skills are required.
